YouTubers contribute 6,800 crores to GDP: India’s top YouTubers, earning in crores

Youtubers contribution in India’ GDP : The number of YouTube users in the country is about 448 million. In such a situation, YouTube is at number two in terms of users. WhatsApp is at number one with 53 crore users and Facebook is at number three with 41 crore users.

According to a new report by Oxford Economics, YouTubers are also supporting the Indian economy. The new report states that YouTube creators contributed Rs 6,800 crore to the Indian economy in 2020. This is the first time that the contribution of YouTubers to the country’s GDP has been given prominent place by any agency in its report. The report said that the country’s YouTubers have strengthened the GDP equivalent to 6,83,900 full time jobs. 92 percent of small and medium entrepreneurs believe that YouTube has helped them reach new people around the world.

448 million people watch videos on YouTube

The report said that there are more than 40,000 YouTube channels in the country with more than one lakh subscribers and their number is growing by 45 percent every year. The number of YouTube channels earning millions is increasing by 60 percent on a yearly basis. According to the report, the number of YouTube users in the country is about 448 million. In such a situation, YouTube is at number two in terms of users. WhatsApp is at number one with 53 crore users and Facebook is at number three with 41 crore users.

Gaurav Chaudhary is at number one in this list. The world knows Gaurav Chaudhary as Technical Guruji. Gaurav makes technology related videos on his channel Technical Guruji. The number of subscribers of Technical Guruji channel is more than 219 million. Gaurav Chaudhary has a business in Dubai and also has a collection of luxury cars. Gaurav Chaudhary’s annual earnings from YouTube is around Rs 25 crore. In the list of Top-5 YouTuber in terms of earning in India, Amit Bhadana is at number two with earning 5 crores, Nisha Madhulika is at number three with 4 crores, CarryMinati is at number four with 2.5 crores and earning Rs 2 crores annually. With Ashish Chanchlani is at number five.
