Soon user’s can buy 24 carat pure Gold through Google Pay App

Google is going to add a new feature to its online payment system and digital wallet platform Google Pay. Through this feature, users will be able to buy and sell gold through Google Pay app. For this, Google has joined hands with internationally recognized metal and mining service provider MMTC-PAMP. After the introduction of this feature, not only users will be able to buy and sell gold, but can also gift gold to their loved ones in virtual form.

Gold price will be displayed on Google Play app all the time

According to a report by XDA Developers, Google Pay’s gold gifting option was spotted a few days ago in the app code v48.0.001_RC03. The report said that new strings have been found in the new version, which indicates that Google is working on a feature in which users will be able to gift gold to others. However, it is not yet confirmed when it will be released and how it will work.

This feature, which can buy and sell gold, can be rolled out by April. With the help of this feature, users will be able to buy 99.99% pure, 24-carat gold. According to the report, gold purchased by the user at any price and quantity will be stored by MMTC-PAMP in a secure vault on its own behalf. Users will be able to buy and sell this gold at any time at the latest price. The gold price will always be visible on the Google Play app.

The company launched the Google Pay app in the Indian market in January 2018. In the fifth edition event of Google for India, the company had said that Google Pay has also surpassed Phone Pay with 67 million monthly active users. It grew threefold in the first 12 months of September, and online-offline merchants traded for 110 billion dollars.
