Introduction : 5G Technology India
5G Technology India: India successfully tested 5G calls on Wednesday. This test was done at IIT Madras. Union Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, who was present on occasion, made 5G voice and video calls. This indigenous 5G technology of India is considered a big step toward self-reliance in technology.
Young engineers from IIT Madras explained to Ashwini Vaishnav the design of various sub-systems of 5G, all indigenously designed and developed. Over the next few months, this design and ‘Made in India’ solution has the potential to go from local to global, indigenously and securely to meet India’s needs.
