PLANETARY SCALE COMPARISON
Earth Mass Baseline:
Your mass never changes across the cosmos — but the downward gravitational force pulling on you changes dramatically with each world's size and density.
Surface gravity depends on two competing factors: the total mass of the celestial body ($M$) and its radius squared ($r^2$), according to Newton's universal law of gravitation:
g = G × (M / r²)
Notice how Saturn is 95 times more massive than Earth, yet its surface gravity is only 1.07g (almost identical to Earth)! This is because Saturn is a low-density gas giant with an enormous radius, placing its cloud deck far from its gravitational center.
